SeaShield 2000FD System

The SeaShield Series 2000FD is a sealing system designed to lock out both water and oxygen from the splash zone of steel, concrete and wood structures, effectively providing protection against corrosion and extending the life of the structure.

SeaShield 2000FD SystemThis system is effective in all environments, especially those that are too extreme for paint systems, epoxies and other types of protection. The SeaShield 2000FD also prevents spalling and corrosion of steel reinforcement in concrete piles and also protects wharf piles, riser pipes and exposed piping in intertidal zones. Whether piles are of cylindrical or octagonal configuration, the SeaShield 2000FD can be used.

The SeaShield 2000FD system is applied by approved installers using a controlled tensioning system to fit the petrolatum-based tape. This tape bonds to the structure by displacing water and forms a membrane that is corrosion and moisture resistant. Then a tough outer cover is applied which protects against weathering and mechanical damage.
